Millburn & Company ( M&C ), headquartered in Salt Lake City, is a privately held real estate investment firm focused on the multifamily sector (~7,800 units). M&C is seeking a highly detail-oriented , Investor Relations Executive Assistant to join its team in Salt Lake . General responsibilities are as follows: Serve as the initial and primary point of contact for when investors contact the firm; often thought of as a gatekeeper . Field investor inquiries, assess the appropriate team member within the firm to help assist with the inquiry, and provide accurate, appropriate, and timely follow up after consulting with the appropriate team member(s). Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective investors. Maintain updated investor contact information and distribution lists as well as tracking of investor activity. Coordinate investor equity raises by communicating amounts required, tracking/auditing/reviewing subscription agreements, where funds are to be sent/wired, reconciling amount called versus received, and tracking the amount of capital needed versus pledged to avoid over subscribing on the investment. Responsible for managing proactive and effective distribution/correspondence to investors including monthly statements and distributions, quarterly reporting, deal closings, webinars, tax reporting, investment related notifications/updates, etc. Assist with distributions including reviewing capital events, financial statements and preferred interest distribution schedules. Manage the investor portal (Backstop) to ensure optimal functionality for the investors and conduct on-going audits of the information input to ensure accuracy. Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of investor meetings, investor conferences, and internal meetings; develope concise pre-meeting briefs and execute post-meeting follow-ups. Oversee investor materials and marketing initiatives. Assist with website content development and management. Effectively manage time, exhibit flexibility and ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed. Successful candidates will possess the following: Bachelor's degree Minimum of three years of directly relevant experience with an investment management firm High personal integrity, including the capacity to discretely handle highly confidential and sensitive information Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the firm are essential to this position Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize/work on multiple projects simultaneously while delivering results in a timely manner with minimum direction Exceptional attention to detail with a focus in data integrity as well as quality of deliverables to ensure highly accurate work product Ability to build relationships and rapport with investors Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to find solutions without specific step-by-step instructions Highly motivated team player with a collaborative mentality but also the ability to work independently. Comfortable working across the organization with all levels of management Quick learner who is resourceful and adapts well to change but also has a proactive mindset with an interest in learning and adding value High energy and positive team member who is a self-starter comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving roles and responsibilities Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced work environment with changing priorities, including occasional travel Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe; experience in Adobe InDesign is a plus This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits, including health insurance.
