Records Management Analyst Perform functions to implement and maintain an electronic records management system that meets Federal regulations and supports the missions and functions of the Department of Energy's Office of Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). Responsible for standardizing the electronic capture, management, and disposition of records, and implementing records management solutions. Responsibilities Process and maintain records in an electronic records management system to meet regulatory requirements for disposition. Create and revise file plansrecord categories in an electronic records management system. Train record categories in an auto-categorization tool. Maintain, disposition, and re-categorize records in accordance with records disposition schedules. Support Program offices in the capture and disposition of records created and received. Provide support to Program offices in the transfer of records to storage at the Federal Records Center. Provide support to Program Offices in the transfer of permanent records to the National Archives utilizing NARA's ERA. Perform record inventories and coordinate the creation and maintenance of organizational file plans. Identify and preserve records requested under litigation holds, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, audits, or similar obligations. Review procedural standards, identify problems, and report on findings and recommendations. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of additional relevant work experience in records management. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Federal records management experience. Knowledge of Federal regulatory records management requirements and records scheduling. Experience working with electronic records management systems. U.S. Citizenship required in order to obtain DOE Background Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with eDiscovery andor auto categorization tools a plus. Knowledge of SharePoint 2016 a plus.
